Coach

Ahmed Abdallah

Coach Ahmed joined Apex Fencing academy in 2024. While not coaching at AFA, he is the Epee coach for Duke University. He has been involved in the sport of fencing for 27 years, he was a member of the Egyptian fencing national team for 10 years, a world team member,  and made World cup top 16 in Cairo 2006. He is a multiple time national champion and collegiate national champion.

“I love the mental game of fencing and the ability to trick the opponent. I like when I see my students win, and show progress, I appreciate the process of improving and living up to their potential. I try to make sure that the student understands why we are doing these actions and how to use them. For me practice makes permanent, so consistency in practicing the right good habit is the most important thing. AFA has a special welcoming and warm atmosphere; I want my input to help  make the club one of the best in the region and the country.”
